Website Design

  • WordPress Install
  • Bespoke Theme Setup and Design.
  • Page Setup & Design
  • HTML & CSS editing.
  • PHP Back End
  • Custom Post Types

MhIST contacted us and asked us to rebuild their website. We were really excited to get to work with such a great charity and develop their online profile.

Their previous website was built using Joomla and none of the staff were developers so they couldn’t update the website. During the early planning meetings we discussed that they would like to manage the content themselves. This would mean that they could update their website without having to rely on external developers.

We decided on WordPress as a member of staff at MhIST had some knowledge of using the CMS. What we set out to create was a bespoke WordPress theme which was tailored to the needs of MhIST.

Bespoke WordPress Theme

To develop the WordPress theme we chose a popular Timber plugin. This enabled us to extend WordPress and create a unique design for the MhIST charity website.

Custom Posts

As we knew that the staff had struggled with using the previous CMS. We set out to make website user friendly as easy as possible. We extended WordPress to have custom post and page types where the content could be separated. This would allow the front-end design to look after itself.
